Jessica Simpson’s recent hospital trip for an infection has turned out to be due to Jessica’s recent binge drinking. It is reported that Jess was hospitalized after months of hard drinking with beau Tony Romo and his friends.

“She used to keep her drinks to a minimum, because she’s very conscientious about the calories,” says a friend. “But Tony and his buddies really party hard, and I think they expect Jessica to keep up with them. But she is like a third of their weight and just can’t hold as much as they can.”

Did she really think she could hang with a bunch of football players? Come on Jess!

Jessica was seen having lunch with her mother Tina, sister Ashlee, and Ashlee’s boyfriend, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.
