Millions of fans who’ve spent the past year hoping that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson would reunite are going to be disappointed with a recent statement made by Nick. While many like to believe that the formerly happy couple will find their way back to one another, it’s not looking likely. Here’s what Nick had to say about his past relationship with singer/actress, Jessica Simpson.
“It was best for both of us that it ended the way it did. It’s a good thing to put behind you. I learned a lot of valuable lessons.” To make matters even more gloomy, Nick decided to stress how happy he is in his new relationship with fame-hungry former “Entertainment Tonight” host, Vanessa Minnillo. “Now I’m extremely happy with where my life and my relationship are going,” says the 33-year-old former “98 Degrees” singer. “You can’t let what happened in a previous chapter of your life dictate what happens in the next,” he finishes.
Looks like the much anticipated reunion between Nick and Jess is out of the question – for now at least.
